This necklace holds a secret acrostic message, meaning the first letter of...The DARLING necklace is from our Georgiana collection, inspired by the love of sentimentality in Georgian Britain. This necklace holds a secret acrostic message, meaning the first letter of each gemstone spells out a word. In this case, we've used a diamond, aquamarine, ruby, labradorite, indicolite, nephrite, and garnet to spell out the word "darling". With the gorgeous 'cut-down' setting evocative of the Georgian period, each setting has a little star detail at the back so when the necklace turns, it's as beautiful from the back as the front.
This collection is also highly customisable as we can spell out any word or name with gemstones, so please get in touch if you would like your own custom acrostic necklace!
