  • Unique Bespoke Jewellery Like You've Never Seen Before

     

    Bespoke' is a word that is used a lot nowadays. At Aril Jewels it means something specific: working with you from the seed of an idea to a finished piece of fine jewellery that is entirely yours, with your vision, your history and your meaning woven in from the start. We have helped clients create engagement rings, acrostic pieces, signet rings and everything in between, and we will guide you through every step of the process. If you can dream it, we can make it.

    Let's get to know one another

    The first step of commissioning a bespoke piece is a good old chat. Whether online or in person, we'll get to know you (or your other half) a little better. We'll ask you questions about favourite colours, styles, gems or general likes and dislikes so we can get a better idea of your personal style.

     

    We're always happy to chat about jewellery, so if you're still in the discovery stage, please don't hesitate to get in contact - we're super friendly, promise!

    First Impressions

    The next step is coming up with some hand-drawn, to-scale sketches based on our conversations. This exciting stage is when we can really play with every detail to get your piece absolutely perfect. Sometimes we will present you with a few ideas to narrow things down further or if you're already sure of exactly what you want, we'll show you the final design sketch.

    Treasure Hunt

    After your final design is confirmed, we search the world for the perfect gems to go into your piece. We have extremely high standards for our stones - we may search through hundreds to find just the right one for you. We work exclusively with highly trusted gem and diamond dealers who specialise in ethical, natural gemstones, so you can feel confident your bespoke piece is as responsible as it is beautiful. Usually, we will show you a small selection of options, possibly at different price points, for you to choose the stone that speaks to you. We'll often also show you a 'layout' of your gems in their final design so you can really see your piece start to come to life.

    A work of Art

    We're passionate about your pieces being as beautiful as they can be, from every angle. After your design has been refined and your perfect gems have been chosen, there's one more unusual next step. We'll create a traditional gouache painting, by hand, of your final piece. This little piece of art will show every detail of your dream jewel and is yours to keep.

    A safe pair of hands

    Once your design and gemstones have been finalised, our master craftspeople will bring it to life. The men and women making Aril Jewels pieces are specialists at the very top of their fields, and your piece will often pass through several pairs of careful hands, each with different specific skills, before it is finished. We are passionate about supporting British craftsmanship and keeping these traditional skills alive, which is why all of our pieces are made entirely, or predominantly, by hand in London.

    Mission Accomplished!

    The final step is presenting your finished piece in a beautiful handmade leather Aril Jewels box. Seeing our clients' reactions when it opens is genuinely the best part of what we do.

     

    This is also just the beginning. We offer complimentary cleaning and checking of your pieces whenever you need it - we love an excuse to see you again and hear how the piece is being worn!
